What 2 Wear Wednesdays | The Moto Jacket

The moto jacket is a piece every girl needs in her wardrobe! Of course, classic black leather or vegan faux leather (which is less expensive) goes with everything from skinnies to slip dresses, but there are so many pretty hues this season that are fresh and unexpected. Gorgeous blush (top right) is feminine, fun, and will take you from winter right into spring with the right accessories. A wine or mahogany colored jacket pairs beautifully with grey, especially charcoal skinnies or a knit dress…add in some lace up ghillie flats and sparkly accessories and you could even wear it into the holidays. We recommend buying a less expensive jacket (faux leather) if you want to try a bold color like mustard or royal blue, to see how often and how much you wear it. For a staple piece like taupe or black, you could test out the addition to your wardrobe before investing in a real leather coat. We also love the idea of vintage and up cycled jackets from thrift stores…sometimes, you can find a beautiful leather jacket for a fraction of the price, and it’s already worn-in cool. The moto jacket would look incredible in a senior session, and it can add the finishing touch no matter your personal style.
