Sunday Shoe Swoon | Valentino Rockstud Heel

It’s pretty hard not to swoon over these incredible shoes, am I right, girls?! These beauties are the Valentino Blue and Pink rockstud cage heels. They feature buffed leather in a pretty grey/blue with a classic pointed toe, and a baby pink leather trim with edge little gold-tone pyramid studs and cage straps. There is a pin buckle closure at the ankle strap, and a genuine leather sole. As with all Valentino pumps, they come from Italy. Just about everything on these pumps is perfection…except the price tag ( You can get them at www.ssense.com for $995). While we are sure the price is worth it for such a lovely pair of designer shoes, but there aren’t many of us who can drop almost a thousand dollars on a pair of shoes!

If you want to find the same look for less try these from wwwcharlotterusse.com  for only $39 (below), or check out Nordstrom’s house brand Halogen, who makes a very similar pair for just $80, though they don’t come in blue. Sam Edelman also makes a very good dupe, though it’s a bit pricier at $120. It only comes in neutrals, but the style is the most similar to the original. These shoes look amazing with skinny jeans and a flowy blouse, or paired with a high waist pencil skirt and a tucked in tee. We like the idea of pairing them with a short sleeve grey tee, and tucking it into a vintage denim high waist mini, or a black pencil skirt. Fashion bloggers love them so much (like Erin from Elements of Style) that Valentino’s sales nearly doubled last year. But, you can score the cheaper version and we won’t tell! Shhhh!
