Senior Year Bucket List Photos

Your senior year is irreplaceable, and so are the memories you will create in it! For many, senior or junior year is much different this year, and for others, it’s back to school like (somewhat) normal. No matter where you are attending school, it’s important to still capture the memories with photos. Of course, senior photos are hugely important, and we would love for you to book with us, but besides a traditional senior portrait, here are some ideas for other “bucket list” photos you will want to have to look back on:

-A photo in your cap and gown: What a special moment it is to put that cap and gown on, and of course, you don’t want to miss a gorgeous portrait. If you don’t have a professional photographer capture the cap and gown, have a nice photo taken with your smartphone, with your hair and makeup done the way you want. Sometimes the actual graduation day can be frazzled or hurried, so a calm, relaxed photo beforehand, is really nice to have. Don’t forget to snap one with your bestie, too!

-A photo with your circle of closest friends: A lovely photo of your closest friends and you (of course, follow safety regarding coronavirus), and even better if you get one in your college shirts before you leave for school. A beautiful place to take a commemorative photo is a lake or river with the water behind you…it makes for a really nice frame-able moment!

-A family photo: Yes, you will want a nice current photo to take with you when you leave for college, even if you stay in-state. Ask a friend or family member to take a nice, polished portrait that you can frame and keep with you when you are separated from loved ones. You could even make it into a canvas or wallhanging for your dorm room.

-A photo in front of your school: Even if you aren’t going to in person school, it’s nice to have just one photo of yourself in front of your high school, before you graduate. It is a place where you’ve made so many memories, and one where you will want to look back on, and even show your kids someday! If you played sports, make sure you get one on the field or the court where you played, even in your uniform! These are special memories!
