Janice Freeland
SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER
Janice first fell in love with photography when she was 12 years old after making a pinhole camera for a 7thgrade class project. A slab of cardboard, tape, foil, and film was all it took for Janice to realize her passion. Shortly after getting married, Janice studied photography at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and became a professional photographer in 2003. She shot mostly Fine Art photography until she fell completely in love with Senior Portraits in 2011. She has dedicated herself to furthering her photography education by receiving expert training from some of the TOP Senior Photographers in the country.
One of her favorite things about working with seniors is affording them the opportunity to feel like Hollywood Stars in a small town. She loves capturing their inner beauty and playing a small role in making her seniors feel confident and empowered before they take that next step in life.
In addition to photographing high school seniors, Janice also does HEADSHOTS, COMP CARDS, MATERNITY, and FINE ART sessions.
Janice has a son, Devin, who is also a photographer and she is married to her best friend, Dennis. She and her husband live in Aiken, SC where they care for their two fur babies and participate in equestrian sports.
