Being a mother is one of the greatest gifts life can give us. Whether you are a biological, adoptive, surrogate, or foster mom, you are one of the most influential people in the lives of your children and the people in your life. You also are the one pouring yourself out every day, and often you can feel unseen. It is rare that you are thanked for the amazing role you play, and yet you keep going. That’s why photos are so important for moms. Often, we are the ones behind the camera, but rarely the ones in front of it. Moms sometimes forget to put themselves in the images, because they feel insecure.
As you can see in the images below, maternity is a beautiful time to capture images. It can really be such a short window of time as pregnancy goes so very fast, and some mamas think they will wait till after to take photos of the baby instead. I encourage you to book pregnancy and maternity photos, no matter how you are feeling, because you will love having them to look back on.
