You’ve probably heard of the Ipsy glam bag, but it’s a favorite among beauty bloggers for good reason. It’s only 9.99 per month, and it includes so many great products, as well as a cute little zipper bag every month. Here’s what makes it so great:
The price: With about five items per bag, each item is only about $2 each. Although most are trial and small size, they still are a great value. We especially like the makeup brushes they send you if you select them on your account. Those alone are worth the price of the bag, especially the eyeshadow brushes. And secondly, you can get awesome mascaras in your bag, that totally last much longer than most trial size products!
-The brands: They send amazing brands, like Tarte and urban decay, which makes them luxury products at a fraction of the price. Yes, oftentimes you will go through a trial size very quickly, but its a nice way to sample luxury items without paying for a huge eyeshadow palette. They also send you shades based on your skin tone and preferences, so you aren’t going to get something you will never wear. We have also received items like Too Faced blush, which is always a major favorite and lasts forever.
-The points: You can earn points simply by reviewing the items you are sent, and you can use those points for free products! With each bag you review (five reviews), you can earn about 60 points. Products that are free start at around 600 points, but they add up quickly, and you can get ones when you join for completing various tasks.
-The fun of getting a surprise! It’s a fun treat to get the bag each month in the mail. They arrive in sparkly pink mailers, and they have little notes about each products. It’s a surprise (if you don’t peek at the spoiler emails) and it’s a really inexpensive way to treat yourself. Even if you don’t use the products every month, you can give them away to friends or family, or donate them to a local women’s shelter.
