Should Your Senior Photos Feel Like You?
Senior year is already full of expectations. Classes, sports, friends, plans for what comes next. Your senior photos should be the one thing that feels easy and completely you. Not stiff. Not overly posed. Just you showing up as yourself.

One of the first things I tell my seniors is that you do not have to know how to pose. You do not have to practice your smile. You do not have to act a certain way. My job is to guide you, keep things relaxed, and help you feel comfortable enough to let your personality come through naturally.
The best sessions always happen when seniors stop worrying about what they are supposed to do and start having fun. We laugh. We move around. We take breaks when needed. Some seniors are outgoing and talk the whole time. Others warm up slowly. Both are perfect, and both photograph beautifully.
What you wear, where we shoot, and how your session flows should all reflect who you are right now. Whether that looks sporty, soft, bold, casual, or somewhere in between, your photos should feel like a snapshot of this season of life. Years from now, I want you to look back and say, that really was me.
Parents often tell me they are surprised by how confident their senior looks in their photos. That confidence comes from being seen and celebrated, not from forcing a look or a pose. When seniors feel comfortable, it shows in every image.
If you are heading into your senior year and want photos that feel real, fun, and true to who you are, I would love to help. Reach out early to grab your spot and start planning a session that feels like you from start to finish.
