Outfits for Thanksgiving
As many of us gather with our families and friends this season, you may be looking for new holiday ensembles. Although many people didn’t dress up as often during the pandemic, now we are back into the swing of things so refreshing wardrobes makes sense this holiday season! The styles are running a little more casual these days as people try to stretch their dollars through inflation and rising costs, and so choosing holiday outfits that can be worn multiples times is economical and more minimalist. Here are our picks for a holiday outfit that will give you lots of mileage:
- Treasure and Bond plaid shirt: This cute and simple shirt can be dressed up with dressy jeans or a pair of faux leather pants for an easy holiday look. Add in sparkly jewelry and heels to make it dressier than normal, and and then you can wear it every day with regular jeans and boots.
- A black jumpsuit: Nearly every regular retailer has a version of a black jumpsuit and it’s because they are so incredibly versatile. A black jumpsuit can be paired with a pretty sweater or velvet blazer for a dressy occasion like thanksgiving dinner, and then dressed down with a jean jacket and sneakers for brunch with friends. Look for a fabric like linen or modal to get the best use of the jumpsuit.
- Wool skirt: The wool skirt is making a comeback, especially for fall. Target has plenty of great options for a wool skirt, and most are under $30. Pair with a plain cream sweater for a dressy occasion, or dress down with a tee and a jacket. If you need extra warmth, just add tights or leggings underneath.
Enjoy the holidays with your loved ones!
