Cold Weather Hats

I love a great hat, especially for those days when your hair needs to be washed, and you’re in a hurry. It can cover a multitude of hairdressing errors, and it keeps you warm, too! I have rounded up some of my favorite hats today, and I think you will probably find a new favorite (I have to resist the urge to order them all!).

-Best splurge: Big Sky Pom Beanie from Free People. I love this hat! It’s chunky, has a 70’s vibe, and it will be super warm for skiing, running errands, or just to complete a cute outfit. At just under $60, it’s definitely not the cheapest option, but it’s definitely super stylish. It also makes a beautiful gift for anyone on your list (or even for birthdays or occasions).

-Best value: Pom pom chunky knit beanie. This Forever 21 option is under $10, so it also makes a more affordable gift option for someone on your list, but also is cheap enough that you can pick up a few spares to keep in your car or your book bag. It comes in multiple colors, but we really love the dusty pink color that can even function as a neutral.

-Best Neutral: Madewell is one of the best options for neutral pieces like sweaters, It also has beautiful beanies that come in black, taupe, cream and rust. They look great with staple pieces like a jean jacket, black jeans, and ankle boots. If you are just getting started with wearing hats or you aren’t sure if you love it, it’s ideal to start with a simple, classic style that you can test the waters with.

All of these are a great choice for both you or someone you’re buying for. Whether you splurge on a well-made, stylish option from Free People, or a more affordable Forever 21 choice, you will be glad you did!
