We love fall clothes around here, and we are getting ready for back to school, and cozy sweaters galore! Hooray! We cannot wait to start stocking our closets with the best sweaters and jackets, and of course, boots! Here are our choices for the things you probably want to add to your wardrobe for the crisp weather!
-Studded Boots: Studded boots are back in a big way, but with a fresh take. Look for brown and grey suede tones with tiny studs, rather than black studded Moto boots. These are easier to wear and a little more elegant than the standard kind.
-Oversized Sweaters: They were a big part of the fall fashion last year, and they’re also back, in unique textures and colors. Look for mustard, and bright neons in the oversizes silhouettes, for something fresh and interesting. Don’t forget a standard black or taupe one to round out your closet.
-Platform Sneakers: Invest in some Air Force 1 sneakers or similar, and wear them with everything from dresses to skirts! We love these paired with a dressier item to make an outfit ready for a more casual atmosphere. If you want something with more interest than plain white, look into a tan or mauve version for something that is still neutral but more flair.
-Cardigan Sweaters and high waist jeans: Of course, these are staples, but theyre back with cool details like a paperbag waist, drawstrings, or jogger style denim. Add interest by choosing textured cardigans (look for slouchy, oversized knits, or quilted cotton) in colors like mauve, green, and charcoal grey for a super cozy feeling.
Lastly, don’t forget your jewelry. Warm up your outfit with gold toned earrings, layered necklaces, and pretty studs! This will make your whole ensemble look more polished and put together.
