Best of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021
The sale of the year is here! I always look forward to this sale every year, and encourage my senior photography clients to shop it to get high end items at great prices. If you’re looking for designer items on a budget, this is the sale for you. Each year, Nordstrom puts some of the most wanted items for fall and winter on great discounts for a limited time. Here’s the best of the sale this year:

Barefoot Dreams: This brand is known for the coziest items ever. Their blankets and sweaters sell out every single year, and for good reason. They’re soft, washable in a regular machine, and they last for years to come. If you want a great gift, get a few of the blankets, and if you want a sweater that you’ll be able to wear everywhere from class to work, and even to your senior photo session, get some of the cardigans.
Boots: The boots are always the best on this sale. Look for Steve Madden, Vince Camuto, and Halogen for some of the best and most durable footwear. Halogen is Nordstrom’s house brand, and their items are so beautiful! We love the ankle and higher boots, and many of them are waterproof. BP is another Nordstrom house brand that is more affordable, as well.
Nike and Adidas sneakers: The sale is famous for running shoes. If you need a great pair, this is the perfect time to snag some. Look for neutral tones that you can get lots of wear out of. The APL and OC sneakers are also wonderful and on sale, at steep discounts. Check out blogs like the Doubletake Girls and Mrs Casual for more ideas on which sneakers are the best ones to pick up!
Spanx and Zella: Zella leggings are another fan favorite for the Nordstrom sale, and they usually go below $40 a pair. Theyre soft, comfortable, and can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. This year, they’ve included bike shorts and joggers in the sale as well. If you’re looking for some Spanx pieces to wear under dresses or tighter fitting skirts for your session, this is also the time to invest in those, too.
