Gift Ideas for Him Under $50

Last week, we focused on gifts for the wonderful gals in your life, but surely there are some guys on your list this year, too! When you don’t want to break the bank, you need affordable ideas that will still make their day when they open them up. Here are our best ideas for your dad, boyfriend, uncle, or guy friends this holiday season:

-Basic household tool kit: Every guy loves getting tools, and if you are shopping for a younger guy who’s still in high school or college, a simple kit like this one from Amazon can get their tool collection started. It includes basic things like pliers and a screwdriver, along with other necessities like a tape measure. Best of all, it comes with a handy carrying case, and it’s under $25! You can’t beat that.

-Breakfast sandwich maker: For the aspiring cook, this quirky and fun gift is also under $25, and it’s also useful. You can use it in the kitchen or a dorm room, which makes it perfect for any person on your list. It has spots for the bread/muffin, cheese, meat, and egg, and puts them all together in a much healthier version of an “egg McMuffin”. It also does this in about 5 minutes, which makes it fast AND easy! All of the components are dishwasher safe, so cleanup is a breeze.

-Silly graphic tee: These are available at just about any online retailer, and a funny graphic tee is great for a laid-back, not-too-serious gift for your friends or family. Whether you want one with a quote, or a meme, a simple google search can find you just about any kind of tee you might want. Be sure to find out what size tee your recipient is, so that you can make sure they can wear it right away after they open it on Christmas! We like this funny taco themed one.

-A bluetooth enabled beanie: For the music lover, the tech savvy guy, or guys who just really enjoy wearing great hats, this beanie is perfect. It comes in tons of different color combinations, and the bluetooth speaker means you can enjoy your favorite show, podcast, or music while keeping yourself super warm this winter. We won’t tell if you order one for yourself, too! We recommend a neutral color for gift-giving, like navy or grey.

-Custom socks: If anyone on your list has a favorite pet, or photo, customized socks are so, so fun! They will love opening up something customized to them, and it’s something practical. This pair from Amazon is not only practical, it’s affordable as well. Just be sure to order them well in advance of the holiday so that they arrive in time; custom products tend to have longer shipping times. Choose a clear, crisp photo with clear borders in order to get the best result.
