Best Summer Staples Under $50
When it comes to summer clothes, budget is pretty important! Most of us are on a budget, and that amount can seem small when you are saving for college, and other big expenses. That’s why, when it comes to fashion, we love finding pieces that look high-end…without the price tag to match. Today’s blog is your handy guide to some of the best online (and in store) deals that will spruce up your wardrobe as the temperatures begin to warm up:
JCREW Factory Scallop Skirt: This skirt is not only under $50, but under $30 as well. It’s so cute with a basic tee or dressed up with heels or sandals for brunch with the girls. We would also add a denim jacket or cardigan, and the length is substantial enough, you might be able to wear it to work or in an office setting, depending on your workplace. Choose the black for something very versatile, or branch out with a jewel tone! This punch bright blue is something unexpected and really fun.
Madewell Whisper Tee: Tons of fashion bloggers wear these tees, because they are under $25, and they wear so well. They are also machine washable (we hang ours to dry on the line), and they come in a multitude of colors. What more can you ask for? For summer, and the total nineties styles that are coming back, we love their fun stripe versions.
Hailey Crepe Dress: This is a very affordable dress that can work for just about any summer event you have coming up…especially those amazing grad parties (even your own). We like it with wedge sandals and in this pretty green color. It’s under $50 and has free shipping. It’s made of a pretty crepe, and at about 34″ inches long, it should work for taller and more petite girls as well.
Old Navy White Shorts: When we can find great shorts for under $20, we are THERE FOR IT. We like the inseam on these, because they are short without showing too much, and they fit well around the waist. We found them true to size, and if you use their online codes, they go as low as $12 throughout the summer. Add a great striped shirt for something you can wear to the lake or shopping with friends!
