SUNDAY SHOE SWOON | Under $100: Lace-Up Flats
The lace-up flat was super popular last year, and it has made a comeback this season, too! It is an especially versatile shoe, and looks amazing with everything from skirts to skinnies. We recommend buying two pairs: one in a neutral like black or taupe, and one in a fun color or unique texture (like snakeskin or crimson). When choosing your lace-up flats, be sure to consider what kind of laces you want. You can opt for traditional laces, where you have to wrap/tie them every time you wear them, or a style where only a short portion is laced-up. Lastly, a flat like the Rialto ballerina flat (below) zips up the back and has a faux lace-up detail that you can knot tied so you don’t have to worry about it. Things to think about are: how often you’ll wear your shoes, where you are wearing them, and how often you’ll want to adjust/re-tie them while you wear. All of the styles shown below are under $100, which means you can invest in more than one! These are one of the staples that we love with military inspired jackets, boho dresses, and basic distressed skinnies and tees. You can truly wear them with just about everything! Happy Shopping!
