What 2 Wear Wednesdays | Ankle Boots

I just love that ankle boots are remaining “in style” year after year, meaning investing in a great pair can be a wonderful idea. And, if you’re not quite ready to fork over the big bucks for a spendy leather pair, there’s now many options that are more affordable. As you know, we love helping you save money here on the blog, so we have put together some examples below from Polyvore, and will talk about what ankle boots can be worn with which outfits today.
A taupe, suede style ankle boot that is either flat or has a low heel, is one of the best items your closet can have. It is versatile, and can be worn with everything from dresses to skinny jeans. It can also carry you through more than just the fall, even stretching to cool summer nights, and we bet you may just wear a pair out from all the use! We really love this pair from Sam Edelman. At just over $125, they are not the cheapest shoe, but they hold up well, and are really cute and comfortable. Whether you’re a senior, or a stay at home mom, this boot can last years and years and look ultra stylish.
If you’re a little more fashion forward, consider a trendier, chunky ankle bootie. A platform bootie, or one with fringe, harkens back to the seventies, and can give you a super retro vibe. This pair rings in at under $40, and would look super fun with a bell-sleeved, paisley dress for a true vintage, bohemian look.
Don’t forget to browse this Polyvore board (below) for more looks, and ways to incorporate booties into your spring looks!
