What to Wear Wednesdays | Fourth of July

America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand. –Harry S Truman

Fourth of July is a great time to explore new fashions and take risks! These are some really cute and functional styles you could wear for the holiday, or wear for an Americana-themed session, too! Maybe you want to layer casual cut-offs over a sleek red and navy bikini, or maybe a vintage wash tee, combined with bold skinny jeans! We love the anchor themed espadrilles (you can find a similar pair here), and cut-off overalls are cute all summer long (we found a cute and affordable pair at Target!). For a bolder look, try an A-line mini and a bustier top, with a jacket for a little more coverage in the evening. Maxi dresses continue to be in style, and we love this one from Modcloth.

If you’re thinking about an Americana-themed session, we would love to set it up before summer ends! Contact me today!
